Anastasia Wilson is a performing and teaching artist. As a youth, her primary artistic affiliations were with the renowned Arts-Us Young Storytellers and the legendary Kamau Kambui Circle for Cultural Learning Reenactment Program. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre from the University of Maryland. In 2015, upon completing her Master of Fine Arts in Physical Theatre from Accademia del Arte in Arezzo, Italy, she returned home to Minnesota and is currently involved in a special youth project with Steppingstone Theatre exploring ways to bring Thorton Wilder’s Our Town to life from a Saint Paul perspective. Through the power of authentic storytelling and theater, Anastasia is thrilled to be leading Sweet Potato Comfort Pie’s creative reflective process.
