Adrienne Dorn is the director of development at the Cedar Cultural Center and has been an active member of Minneapolis' arts community for over ten years though that work and her service on a variety of committees and boards. In 2014, she launched The Cedar's largest community program to date titled Midnimo (Somali for “unity”), which consists of intensive, week-long residencies with Somali artists from around the world with the purpose of increasing awareness and understanding of Somali culture through music. So far, Midnimo has engaged 30 Somali artists and served 4,000 audience members. Adrienne is also a board member at Family Tree Clinic, a consultant with African Families Development Network and an avid runner.
