Tenzin Jhangchup

Tenzin Jhangchup is originally from India but of Tibetan nationality. Tenzin's family moved to Minnesota about six years ago. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 2015 and is currently taking liberal arts studies at MCTC. Since she was a little kid, she knew that making art was one of her biggest talents. She learned how to paint murals at MPTA (Mentoring People Through Art) and she cherishes every time she comes across the murals they painted across the city. Since summer 2013, Tenzin has been an Apprentice at Juxtaposition Arts, where she’s worked on many projects: designing bike racks, building bookshelves, making sculptures in SketchUp, tactical urbanism, door knocking, etc. Her future goal is to become a landscape architect.
