Coal Dorius graduated with her master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota in 2013. While earning her degree, she focused on urban planning and the relationships between the infrastructure of the city and how it relates to the needs and values of the people who use it. Working with Juxtaposition Arts is an incredibly rewarding experience for Coal, and creating spaces that are more usable, safe, inclusive and healthy in response to the needs of an increasingly diverse population are inherent in her design processes because of JXTA.
