Ruth Hamburg manages stakeholder engagement, development, and social media for Minnesota Compass, a project led by Wilder Research. Compass provides current, credible data to decision-makers throughout Minnesota, including breakdowns by race, ethnicity and place of origin. Ruth's work includes oversight of Compass' Racial Equity Resource Directory, serving on a workgroup to strengthen Wilder's cross-cultural research efforts, and sharing the stories of how communities combine research with experience to improve quality of life. Versed in the theory and practice of intercultural engagement through work and research globally and throughout Minnesota, she seeks to embody radical welcome through collaboration, inquiry and deep listening. In her spare time, Ruth leads the community engagement efforts of another local nonprofit. She lives and works in the Saint Paul's Hamline-Midway neighborhood.
