Andrew Cseter is the Director of TRIO Programs (the Upward Bound College Access Program and Student Support Services College Retention Programs) and serves as a community faculty member at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota. One of his main interests is to create opportunities of access and success in college, especially for students coming from limited-income backgrounds and those with disabilities. Currently the president of the Minnesota TRIO Association, he also sits on the board of directors for the Midwest Educational Opportunity Association. He feels strongly that overcoming obstacles is about building confidence, creating a sense of belonging and purpose, and engaging in meaningful ways.
