Heather Jeche is a performer and on-going instructor with Mu Daiko. She has held numerous workshops and residencies with students ranging from early elementary school to college, senior citizens, and students with special needs. She has also studied taiko, dance, fue, and vocals with several influential taiko masters and mentors of Mu Daiko. As a composer of original taiko songs, her first two compositions, Mizu no Nagare and Retrospect, won the Paddle and Drum Award for new composition excellence in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
