Kim Nelson is General Mills’ Senior Vice President, External Relations. She has also been a corporate officer of General Mills since 2000, most recently as president of General Mills Snacks Division. Kim was a founding member of the Black Champions, Women in Marketing Networks, and Midwest Chapter of the Network of Executive Women (NEW). She has served on the Boards of YWCA-Minneapolis, the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, the Northside Achievement Zone, and Partners in Food Solutions. She serves on the Steering Committee of the African American Leadership Forum (AALF). She is Co-Chair of Generation Next, and a member of the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs Advisory Council.
