Sophia Geng is the director of the Asian Studies Program at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. She is an Associate Professor of Chinese with expertise in fields such as Chinese literature, cultural heritage safeguarding, folk art, immigration, and diaspora studies. Sophia is a strong advocate for minority groups, immigrants’ rights, and gender equality. She has presented at international and national conferences on gender, racial, and immigration issues.
