Eriks Dunens is the alumni program and cohort coordinator for the Leadership and Civic Engagement program area of University of Minnesota Extension. Extension provides practical education and research to help people, businesses and communities solve problems, develop skills and build a better future. In practice, Eriks supports and enables leaders as they take their ideas, strengths, knowledge, and connections and puts them into action to create positive public impacts. Eriks has a master's degree in public policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. His study focused on public participation processes and engaging individuals in decision making that impacts them. Eriks also plays board games and basketball.
