AnnMarie Thomas is an associate professor in the School of Engineering at the University of St. Thomas. She is the director of UST’s Playful Learning Lab and the UST Center for Engineering Education. AnnMarie is the author of Making Makers: Kids, Tools, and the Future of Innovation. She earned a bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering from MIT, a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Caltech, and a professional certificate in sustainable design from MCAD.
